Vision of Data & AI department is to enable every decision within Magenta to be data driven. We aim to be the #1 business partner for all Magenta units, when it comes to data. We are on a mission to simplify our data stack and bring our data, clean and structured to a modern cloud with GCP.

 

We are looking for someone available to support our team full-time for a 12-month period.

  • Support the team in developing, testing, and maintaining data pipelines and workflows.
  • Assist with general coding and implementation tasks related to data and analytics use cases.
  • Contribute to data transformation and modeling activities using dbt.
  • Support activities in the GCP cloud environment and assist with Spark-based reverse engineering tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members on Data & AI initiatives and continuous improvement topics.

  • You are currently studying Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or a related field?

  • You have basic programming knowledge and a strong interest in data engineering, analytics and AI?

  • You already have some experience or understanding of working with data, databases or technical data environments?

  • You are familiar with SQL and version control tools (e.g. Git) and you have an understanding of modern data technologies such as Spark, dbt or cloud platforms, e.g. Google Cloud Platform? (advantageous)

  • You are a structured, proactive team player with good communication skills and a strong willingness to learn?

According to the collective agreement for the telecommunications industry, this position carries a minimum gross monthly salary of €2.349,59 based on full-time employment (38.5 hours per week).
